Warranty, Repairs & Upcycling

Overview

Below is an outline of our policies. What is boils down to, is just contact us. We’re more that happy to work with you, and we want our customers to have the best experience possible with our company and it’s products.

Repairs

Alpine Gremlins guarantees its products for their repairable life (“reparable life” is determined by our Warranty Team.). If your product suffers damage during an adventure, you can either send it in to us and we will repair it, or follow one of our guides to repair it yourself. If you choose to have Alpine Gremlins make the repairs, all you have to do is send in your product, cover shipping both ways, and we will take care of the rest. Products not covered under this policy are those that are determined to be not repairable, where the damage did not result from a manufacturing defect. If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please see the next section of this page. If your product has reached the end of it’s “repairable life”, please see our section on “Upcycling” for additional options.

Manufacturing defects

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact with Alpine Gremlins or the retailer from which you purchased your product to submit a claim. Claims must include:
• A clear description of the defect
• Photos and/or video that clearly shows the defect
In the event that there is a manufacturing defect with one of our products, Alpine Gremlins will first attempt to repair the defect. Alpine Gremlins will only provide replacement products if it is determined that a manufacturing defect cannot be repaired. Alpine Gremlins does not provide replacement products for those that have suffered “normal wear and tear” or have been damaged as a result of user error.

Upcycling

If your product has reached the end of its “repairable life”, don’t worry, its not the end of the road! Alpine Gremlins is committed to minimizing our environmental impact and that means having as few of our products as possible end up in landfills once they’ve climbed their last mountain. In many cases, the Dyneema® Composite Fabric from our larger products can be recycled, or “upcycled”, to make other products and give the fabric a second life. If your product is no longer repairable, or you decided you simply just don’t want it any more, you can send it in to us and we will upcycle the material.

Alpine Gremlins reserves the right to make changes or updates to this policy at any time, for any reason, without notification to our users. It is the responsibility of the user to check this page regularly for updates or changes.
